The Tenacious & Poised Tau Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incoporated®. was chartered on April 20, 2014 by Erica Williams, Jada Aponte, Chare Perkins, Sparkle Irby, Jaylynne Williams, Tashara Robinson, Sheena Williams, Amber Bayton, Brianna Beck, Shawntavia Smith, Arshay Grant, and Chenoa Nixon. 

 

Tau Psi is the first African American sorority on the campus of Methodist University and the second NPHC organization on campus. Since 2014, 35 women have been welcomed into this illustrious chapter and have been serving the campus and Fayetteville community diligently. Tau Psi strives to continue making an impact on Methodist University and surrounding areas through our sisterhood, scholarship and service.
